Your senior year of high school is such a big deal and what better way to document this moment in time? Senior pictures!! Savannah is the perfect location for senior photos especially if you are graduating from one of the schools in the area.
Savannah Senior Sessions
Justine is one of my Senior Team Members and for her individual session she chose Isle of Hope and downtown Savannah (squares & side streets). We started on Bluff Drive and then headed to Chatham Square downtown. Justine’s sister Marguerite was on the team last year so we started on Bluff Drive, because that’s where Marguerite did her session then we headed downtown to give Justine something unique to her!
For her first outfit she choose a peachy pink dress. This dress was such a great choice because the pop of color was perfect for Bluff Drive and really brought out the color of Justine’s eyes.
Senior Photos on Bluff Drive
After her first outfit Justine changed into a pair of white shorts and a blue colored top. This outfit was fun because it was casual and because her big sister wore something very similar for her session. We had fun getting photos of Justine that were unique but also getting some of the same backdrops that her sister had. Justine put her style on an outfit that was similar to her sisters (so mom could have some coordinating photos) while also making this look her own.
Fun Senior Photos in Savannah
Justine’s 3rd outfit was this beautiful pale blue dress with white cowboy boots. This dress was such a feminine and flirty dress and with all the jasmine blooming downtown it was the absolute perfect outfit to start the downtown Savannah portion of her senior session. I love that she paired it with the boots – something that’s a bit trendy right now, which takes this all the way from classic with closeups to trendy with full body photos.
Downtown Savannah Senior Session
The last outfit was probably my favorite, these pants with the white body suit were the perfect end to a great session!! I love a pants/jeans look because being able to sit for photos during your session is important to add some variation to you gallery. We found all these fun spots in the Chatham Square area that complemented the shade of green in the pants and Justine had a good time laughing at me telling her to be silly and trust me with some different poses.
After she saw her final gallery she told me “I now know the more awkward you feel the better the photo.” I think she did an amazing job with some of the more fun poses seniors can try!
