Your senior year of high school is such a big deal and what better way to document this moment in time? Senior pictures!!
The Senior Experience is my signature senior session. It offers up to 4 outfits, cap & gown photos, and a 2 location choices. For Nyahna’s session she came down from Augusta to do a destination shoot and we did two different locations in downtown Savannah.
Destination Senior Session in Downtown Savannah
Nani started her session in this gorgeous bright pink formal dress! When she showed me the outfits she was planning to wear I knew the best place for this dress was Bay Street and if the cloud cover was just right (which it was!!!) we could walk down to River Street. This dress was so much fun to photograph – the layers gave it movement and Nani was glowing!
Downtown Savannah Senior Sessions
Nani’s second outfit was this cute white dress. With The Senior Experience I always suggest one of the up to 4 outfits be a solid white or black dress because the session comes with cap & gown photos. When the senior comes with one of these colors as an option the cap & gown don’t look out of place over a random outfit. This dress was a great choice for a second outfit – the bow over one shoulder gave it just enough detail to not be a plain white dress but didn’t overpower the simplicity of the overall look.

Since The Senior Experience package comes with complementary cap & gown photos we popped that on over the white dress and continued taking photos under the oaks in Emmet Park, right off Bay Street. I know a cap & gown typically doesn’t get into a senior’s hands until weeks before graduation so I provide the cap, gown, and tassel for all my Senior Experience sessions! I have quite the closet full!
Senior Photos in Savannah’s Squares
For Nani’s third outfit she choose this pretty blue and white dress! I knew from our conversations she wanted one of her locations to be Crawford Square so we parked between Crawford and Greene and started by walking down to Greene. I knew a few places with some jasmine that was blooming and Green Square photographs so nicely with bright pops of color like this blue and white dress.

For her final outfit, Nani went with this fun bright floral dress! This dress had me from the minute I saw it on her outfit choice list – a pdf, by the way, that she put together in preparation for the session.
Let me pause here for just a second to brag on how prepared and how much thought Nani put into this session!!! I was blown away by the effort and had so much fun seeing how her vision went from an inspiration board to an “ordered/purchased” board, to real life. So. Much. Fun!!!!!
For this dress we walked around Crawford Square – hit the pastel buildings right off the square and even found a few azaleas still blooming right off Liberty. I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to the perfect session!!
