My Favorite Photos from 2021 | Part Two

2021 was a whirlwind for me professionally! I went from being steady and growing to being blessed with an entire senior class for senior portraits overnight! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this year for me both professionally and personally! I love all of the support!!

It was REALLY difficult to narrow down a Top 20 but I’ve managed and the selections surprised me at the end of the decision making as some of these shots aren’t necessary my best work but are photos that mean something more for one reason or another. I hope you enjoy my year in review and look forward to seeing what 2022 has to offer!

Professional Collection

This was SO hard!!! I shot over 150 sessions in 2021 so choosing just 10 shots to showcase was difficult. There are so many great shots that aren’t here especially from the class of 2022 senior sessions. These are my favorite 10 professional photos of 2021!

Last but not least, first!

family of 13 having photos taken in Downtown Savannah Georgia

I’m starting this list with a group shot of the last session from 2021! This shot makes the list because it’s the largest family I’ve shot to date and that’s a really big deal!

Downtown Savannah Family Sessions | Focus on Baby

These two shots are two of my favorites because the focus is on baby and baby is focusing on me!! I love a candid shot and the moments they bring to a gallery! These two are perfect examples!

Wormsloe Historic Site | Engagement Session

This session is special for two reasons. The first being Joy, the bride-to-be, who is the first non-family baby sitter we trusted Christopher with! I have been fortunate enough to photograph engagement (pictured here) and first Christmas as a married couple photos from Joy and Juan and I’m so happy they trust me with their memories! The second reason this photo makes my top 10 is because it represents the full gallery, which is my all time best overall gallery. Every shot from this session was magic and choosing a favorite was almost impossible!

Savannah Georgia Senior Sessions | Senior Team Group Shots

These two photos are special because I think they are beautiful. The light and the subjects are perfect! They are also special because the first is a shot from a test session I did where I was trying to test the idea of hosting a senior team and the second shot is the actual senior experience team I was able to host this year!

Savannah Georgia Senior Sessions | Senior Portraits

With SO MANY great senior sessions and senior photos to choose from picking just two was hard! I need to do a Top 20 from 2021 of just seniors to really showcase all the amazing sessions and students I met this year. I picked these two photos because they are both beautiful but there’s something about the outfits, the body language, the smiles, and the confidence in both of these photos that makes them so memorable!

Savannah Photography | Supportive Friends

I have know both of these gals since college. I’ve known Lauren (on right) since my first go round at GSU and Emily (on left) since my second go round at GSU. This year shooting sessions for them was a great way to be part of special times in their lives that they felt were worth booking a session and capturing. These two shots aren’t just here because they are my friends though…oh no! These are two of my favorite shots from the year because of the lighting and the expressions both photos hold! Also, try taking photos of a one-eyed horse and have his ears pointing at the camera! LOL

That’s the End?

That does wrap up my favorite 20 images of 2021! If you missed the first 10 images you can find them and more with the links below!

I’m looking forward the 2022 and what it brings for me personally and professionally! I hope to see so many of you along the way!!
