I’m excited for another year as a small business owner!! During 2023 my business will be turning 4! I cannot believe it’s only and it’s already been 4 years! It both seems like yesterday AND seems like it’s been forever since I decided to turn my photography hobby into a business.
Today I’m excited to share a few things I have planned for 2023! I’m sure there will be things along the way that shift where I think I’m heading, each year before now has thrown me some curve balls but I like a good plan and can adjust as needed along the way for what life has to share.
Prints and Products
I’ve always offered prints and products but in 2023 I’m going to be working harder to promote in gallery purchases – including adding print credit to all “experience” labeled sessions booked after the new year!! Printing and being able to pull out and look through photos has always been important to me but this year hit a little harder with the death of my Paw Paw. I have so many photos collecting digital dust and I want my kids to be able to go through albums of their lives like we are able to do for ours and the generations that have come before us. I’m making it a point at my house to print photos and I’m making it a point to provide clients with prints/products that reflect the quality of the investment they are making with professional photos.
Senior Spokesmodel Team
The class of 2024 will be my 3rd Senior Spokesmodel Team and I’m excited for the things I have planned for the year! A senior team is a great way for me to keep working on my portrait posing, test locations, and provide a select number of senior students the opportunity to have senior photos taken year round in different places in a fun group environment.
In March I’ll be launching the applications for The Senior Spokesmodel Team and I cannot wait to meet new faces in the class of 2024!!

Savannah Georgia Senior Portraits
The Senior Portraits side of my business changed a little in 2022 (in a good way!!) I’m excited to be offering 3 packages and PRODUCTS!! Dates for spring and summer Senior Sessions are already booking, I’m so excited to keep meeting class of 2023 seniors and to start meeting class of 2024 seniors!

Savannah Georgia Spring Mini Sessions – Columbia Square
For spring 2023 I’m heading back to Columbia Square!! I have a few favorite spots downtown for sessions and Columbia Square tops that list year after year!! Spring Mini Sessions are being held in April this year (exact date TBD). If a spring mini is on your radar for 2023 you can get on the early access waitlist with the link below! Those on the waitlist receive dates and booking information before the public – it’s a great place to be!
Savannah Holiday 2023 | Milk & Cookie Minis
For the fall/holidays I have a few things in mind, both old and new! The Mini Experience for fall will be coming back for sure, date and location TBD but typically the first or second weekend in November is my go-to weekend for The Mini Experience. Forsyth Park was VERY popular this year and I’m not saying I’ll do the park again but I do like something easy that I know works well…
Milk & Cookie Minis will be back again for 2023 – these are my most popular holiday session and I HIGHLY suggest getting on the 2023 Mini Session Waitlist if you are interested in these sessions – they sold out in under 4 hours this year via email list!! AAAHHHHHH!!!!
Savannah Mini Sessions | Tybee Christmas OR Tree Farm
I’m on the fence about whether to return to the tree farm OR offer something new for 2023 and hit the beach for Christmas themed minis. The tree farm was very popular but I love beach sessions… I guess I have a few months to make a decision. If you have a preference let me know! Both options are great and there may be an opportunity to offer both but that will depend on interest and scheduling.
