Your senior year of high school is such a big deal and what better way to document this moment in time? Senior pictures!!
The Senior Experience is my signature senior session. It offers up to 4 outfits, cap & gown photos, and a 2 location choices. For Ava’s session she came down from Pennsylvania to do a destination shoot and chose Forsyth Park and Tybee Island.
Destination Senior Session in Downtown Savannah
Ava started her session in a pair of loose jeans and a floral print top. It was a great choice for Ava as it showed off her style and made her feel more comfortable during the start of our session. We met at Forsyth Park for the first location and immediately checked off the classic fountain shot before hitting more of my favorite spots in the park.
Forsyth Park Senior Sessions
Ava’s second outfit was a pair of jeans and a red top. I loved this outfit because 1. I’m a jeans girl all day every day and 2. the pop of color complemented Ava’s skin tone perfectly. With this outfit we made our way across the park and to Gaston in a loop back to where we were parked for changing. I have a changing tent that attaches to the back of my SUV so we don’t have to worry about finding clean bathrooms to change at when I do senior sessions.
Senior Photos in Savannah Georgia
With two outfits down Ava changed into her 3rd outfit – this simple white dress. She only wanted 3 outfits, not the 4 her session came with, so we decided to photograph this dress right around Forsyth Park before heading to her second location. Since we’d already photographed 2 outfits in Forsyth Park we headed to the side streets on the east side of the park and found lots of fun spots to pop in and take photos.
Cap & Gown Photos in Savannah, Georgia
This white dress was perfect to go under the yellow cap & gown Ava’s school graduates in. I love a light colored outfit to go under cap & gown photos and this one was a great choice!
Ava’s session came with complementary cap & gown photos and since I know those aren’t typically passed out until the spring I provide one for you to borrow for the photos!
Tybee Lighthouse Senior Photos
Usually for sessions I prefer to head to the 8th Street access – it’s usually quiet there so we have less people in the background but the day we took Ava’s senior pictures it was getting overcast as we headed to Tybee so we went over to North Beach. This location means I can get the jetties and lighthouse in the photos to add interest since the sunset was not going to be spectacular.
