Riley’s Downtown Savannah and Isle of Hope Senior Session | Jaden Giorgianni Photography

< back to blog

Your senior year of high school is such a big deal and what better way to document this moment in time? Senior pictures!!

The Senior Experience is my signature senior session. It offers up to 4 outfits, cap & gown photos, and a 2 location choices. For Riley’s session she drove over from Alabama to do a downtown Savannah shoot.

Senior Session in Downtown Savannah

Riley started her session in a dress that was white but had a simple floral design. I loved this outfit – it was simple but beautiful and was the perfect first outfit for Forsyth Park.

This is a beautiful, light-filled senior photo collage featuring three images of a blonde high school senior in a flowy white sundress with a soft pastel floral pattern. Here's a breakdown of each image:

Left Image:
The senior is sitting casually on the edge of a large wooden planter in what appears to be a café patio or park setting. The background includes umbrellas, string lights, and draping Spanish moss from large oak trees, giving a charming, southern vibe. Her white block heels add a polished touch to the relaxed, summery look.
Center Image:
A close-up portrait with a soft smile. She's surrounded by greenery and delicate lavender-blue agapanthus flowers in the foreground, adding dimension and a romantic botanical feel. She wears a dainty gold necklace with a “W” pendant and subtle bracelets, keeping accessories youthful and sweet.
Right Image:
A full-body shot on a paved path lined with lush bushes and large oak trees overhead, their branches creating a natural canopy. Her dress flows gently in the breeze, and she looks effortlessly graceful, standing in the center of the walkway with a soft, confident pose.

Senior Photos in Forsyth Park

For Riley’s second outfit she wore her college tee with some jean shorts. She is excited to be heading to Auburn in the fall and wanted to share that with everyone she knows! We popped back into Forsyth Park for this outfit too – hitting a few of the spots we didn’t catch with her first outfit but also getting the classic oaks and fountain pics in this outfit too!

This image collage features three playful, celebratory shots of a high school senior showing off her Auburn University pride:

Left Image:
The senior is walking away from the camera across a wide expanse of green lawn but turns to smile over her shoulder. She holds an Auburn pennant and orange-and-blue pom-poms in one hand. Her blonde hair flows behind her, and she’s wearing a cropped white Auburn tee with light-wash distressed denim shorts and white platform sneakers.
Center Image:
A close-up portrait on a shaded path surrounded by greenery. She’s facing the camera with a relaxed, confident smile and both hands tucked into her front pockets. The Auburn logo is clearly visible on her cropped T-shirt, and her beachy waves and natural makeup keep the look fresh and fun.
Right Image:
Standing in the center of a picturesque sidewalk lined with large live oak trees, she raises a pom-pom in one hand and proudly holds an Auburn folder in the other. Her stance is celebratory, and the location’s lush greenery and iconic mossy trees frame her perfectly.
The overall mood across the three images is joyful, confident, and ready-for-what’s-next. Let me know if you'd like a version of this with outfit or trend notes!

Senior Photos on Bluff Drive

After her second outfit we headed to Bluff Drive. Riley changed into a white skirt and a fun casual top. For this outfit we walked down the road finding spots along the way to stop and take photos with the white fences and big oak trees

This collage features three golden-hour portraits of a high school senior in a bright and breezy summer outfit, set against scenic, Southern backdrops:

Left Image:
The senior is walking confidently down a shaded road lined with a white picket fence and moss-draped oak trees. She looks relaxed and happy, mid-step, as she smiles toward the camera. Her outfit consists of a smocked, pink floral tie-strap crop top and a tiered white mini skirt with lace trim. She wears brown platform sandals.
Center Image:
A close-up, side-angle portrait showing her soft curls, warm smile, and the delicate details of her top and jewelry. She stands beside a wooden fence with dappled sunlight filtering through the trees behind her, creating a dreamy, sunlit backdrop.
Right Image:
The senior poses near a peaceful waterfront, standing on lush grass with a boardwalk and boathouses visible in the background. Spanish moss drapes from the trees above, and she stands with one foot slightly crossed in front of the other, giving a soft, feminine stance.
Each image captures natural light beautifully and highlights her carefree, summery energy in different yet cohesive Lowcountry-inspired settings.

Fun Senior Photos in Savannah

Riley’s 4th outfit was a white romper. I loved this outfit because I always suggest seniors wear a white dress and this worked for that but was also fun and summery – which is perfect for Bluff Drive and Savannah in the heat of summer. We wrapped Riley’s session by walking down the other side of Bluff Drive and also taking a few photos at the marina.

This collage includes three senior portraits that highlight a bright, summery look in various charming outdoor settings:

Left Image:
The senior is leaning against a turquoise clapboard wall next to a white door, creating a fresh, coastal feel. She’s smiling warmly at the camera, her hand gently playing with her hair. She wears a strapless white textured romper with a large bow detail at the front, paired with minimal jewelry, including a gold “W” necklace and a delicate bracelet.
Center Image:
She stands in the middle of a sunlit road lined with oak trees draped in Spanish moss. Her relaxed stance, soft smile, and gently clasped hands give the image a graceful, easygoing tone. The golden-hour light beautifully highlights her outfit and surroundings.
Right Image:
The senior poses near a marsh with yellow wildflowers and a dock in the background. With one hand on her hip and the other resting casually at her side, she smiles confidently at the camera. The light wind and natural setting add a soft sense of movement and serenity to the portrait.

Cap & Gown Photos in Savannah, Georgia

The other reason I suggest senior experience clients wear a white dress is for the complementary cap & gown photos. As of this post, Senior Experience sessions include cap & gown photos – and I know most schools don’t give out cap & gowns until spring so I provide this for each senior.

Riley’s school colors are black and maroon – which made getting the cap & gown even easier than usual. This specific gown is from my college graduation!

This image collage features three senior graduation portraits, each showcasing a mix of celebration, pride, and personal style:

Left Image:
The senior stands confidently in the middle of a tree-lined road, holding her black graduation cap high above her head in celebration. She wears a black graduation gown open at the front, revealing a white romper and layered honor cords in maroon, gold, and red. Her soft pink heels add an elegant touch to the festive moment.
Center Image:
In this full-body shot, she’s standing in front of a light blue building with white trim, likely a waterfront structure. The gown flows naturally around her as she gently holds the lapels and smiles. Her long blonde hair and honor cords drape over the front of the robe, giving a polished, well-earned graduate look.
Right Image:
With her cap off and gown removed, the senior poses on a quiet road wearing just her white romper and stacked cords. Her hands are relaxed by her sides, and she’s smiling with a slight breeze in her hair. The setting sun adds warmth, casting golden light along the path behind her.
Each image captures a different facet of graduation day—from joyful announcement to quiet reflection—and emphasizes both her academic achievements and personal style.
