Your senior year of high school is such a big deal and what better way to document this moment in time? Senior pictures!!
The Senior Experience is my signature senior session. It offers up to 4 outfits, cap & gown photos, and a 2 location choices. For Dorthy’s session she came down from Missouri to do a destination shoot and chose Forsyth Park and Downtown Squares & Side Streets.
Destination Senior Session in Downtown Savannah
Dorthy started her session in a a bubblegum pink sleeveless dress. When Dorthy’s mom sent photos of what Dorthy was wearing for the session I knew this pink dress would be perfect for Crawford Square – especially since Dorthy expressed interest in having photos taken with the pastel buildings.
Senior Photos on Jones Street in Savannah
For Dorthy’s second outfit she had a pair of white jeans and a red top. Another thing her and her mother expressed interest in while they were in town was seeing all the flags on Jones Street so we made our way over to that part of downtown and this outfit couldn’t have been any better! They told me they specifically picked the shirt out after deciding to do senior photos in Savannah because of the Jones Street flags.
Forsyth Park Senior Sessions
After Jones Street we headed to Forsyth Park. The first outfit Dorthy put on at the park was this beautiful blue and white maxi dress. I think a maxi dress like this one makes the perfect outfit for senior photos because you can have so much fun moving around in it. The ways a maxi flows when you walk and turn makes for the best photos. Also, can we talk for just a second about the scattering of azaleas on Gaston in September!!??
Senior Photos in Savannah, Georgia
For her final outfit, Dorthy chose a simple white dress. This dress had a cute flutter sleeve and some detail at the waist that made it just special enough to not be a plain white dress. I suggest all my senior experience clients wear a plain white dress as one of their four outfits because of how classic the white dress is.
Cap & Gown Photos in Savannah, Georgia
The other reason I suggest senior experience clients wear a white dress is for the complementary cap & gown photos. As of this post, Senior Experience sessions include cap & gown photos – and I know most schools don’t give out cap & gowns until spring so I provide this for each senior.
Dorthy’s school colors are black and white – which made getting the cap & gown even easier than usual. This specific gown is from my college graduation!
